The proposal from Reserve and Juurlink [+]Geluk for the competition of the Pushkin Museum in Moscow is to create a “Museum town” from the collection of disparate elements of the actual museum complex, where the pedestrian will have the priority. The plan include a new building for Depository Restoration and Exhibition Center, conversion of the petrol station into an information point. The landscape concept makes use of one type of stone through the whole “town”, alternating the atmosphere with a different pattern in order to create a typical identity throughout the whole museum complex.
