The municipality of Eindhoven is encouraging companies to relocate to a new, attractive environment within easy reach of the A2 motorway: an ensemble of buildings and outdoor spaces orchestrated in such a way as to create a special atmosphere. Simply a wonderful place to work in. The design is based on a slightly distorted 16.2 x 16.2 metre grid, on top of which a variety of office volumes will be built in multiple phases. The buildings all share a common pedestrian deck with a central water feature with parking situated beneath the deck. The result is a compact business village set in a semi-wild landscape. location: Eindhoven, The Netherlands design period: 2008-2010 implementation: n/a area: 22 ha program: 100.000 m2 GFA designed by: Juurlink[+]Geluk (Huub Juurlink Cor Geluk, Joost de Wit, Mattijs Gevers, Claire Barriet de Garcia) in cooperation with: Studio Sputnik (Jaakko van ‘t Spijker, Henk Bultstra, Bert Karel Deuten, architecture) and Raadhuis Advies (Berry Verleijsdonk, traffic) commissioned by: City of Eindhoven
